Roots vacuum pump units are widely used in metallurgy, petrochemical, 

paper, food and electronic industries. 

In order to better use the Roots vacuum pump and play its efficient 

performance, we will explain the knowledge of ventilation 

before use:

1、The air forms convection from the air inlet to the Roots vacuum 

pump unit. During the process, the doors and Windows close to 

the unit remain closed. 

The air is forced to flow into the workshop from the side of the air inlet, 

and the air is queued and orderly into the workshop, 

flowing through the workshop and discharged from the workshop.

 2、The gas exchange is completely and efficient, which the gas 

exchange rate can be reach as high as 99%. 

Through specific engineering design, gas change speed and 

wind speed design according to needs, any high heat, harmful gas 

and dust smoke can be quickly discharged from the workshop, 

and any bad ventilation problem can be completely solved at one time, 

which can be reached within a few seconds of the opening station.

3、The Roots vacuum pump unit discharges air to reduce the 

indoor air pressure, and the indoor air becomes thinner, the 

water-ring type vacuum pump forms a negative pressure area, 

Air flows into the room due to pressure difference compensation. 

In the actual application of the industrial plant, it is installed on 

one side of the workshop and the air inlet on the other side 

of the factory room.  

The Roots vacuum pump ventilation unit can reduce the loss 

caused by resistance and improve the efficiency.
